Three hundred years ago, after the earthquake in 1193 AH, “Najafgholi Khan Danbali”, the ruler of Tabriz at that time, ordered the reconstruction of Tabriz Bazaar. The Largest Indoor Bazaar in the World

Tabriz and its traditional bazaar prospered in the thirteenth century, when Tabriz was the capital of Safavid Dynasty. The city lost its position as a capital in the 16th century, but remained an important trading center until the end of the 18th century.
